Happy Restaurant Kai Bae Beach

Great authentic Thai food. We had the Tom Yum, grilled pork and whole fish with Chili Sauce. All were great! The service was also good! We even got a free watermelon dessert. The only thing worth to mention, is that «thai spicy» was not spicy enough for our taste.

Without a doubt the best rotisserie chicken we had on the island. Juicy, crisp skin and sooooo tasty. The homemade dipping sauce with it was also incredible, I could have eaten it with anything . The corn fritters were also delicious and fresh, with yet another homemade dipping sauce. Friendly staff, nice and clean. Our favourite, don't miss this!

We went here for dinner and we were welcomed by two friendly staffs ( 1 guy and 1 woman with short hair).They were very very accommodating and friendly. We ordered Cheeseburger which is very yum and crispy fried chicken wings. Food was very good and will definitely come back here to try more of their menus.

Dining at the Happy Restaurant was indeed a pleasant experience. My pineapple shack couldn't be prepared due to a power outage, and they apologized multiple times for this inconvenience. This restaurant is incredibly popular, with a consistently full house in the evenings, often with a line outside. As for the menu, there are very reasonably priced options like pork and vegetable soup and papaya salad, as well as slightly more expensive items like the sizzling seafood platter, but without exception, everything is delicious.When my order of "Thai Basil Seafood Stir-fry" was presented on a sizzling hot iron plate, it drew everyone's attention, and I was equally amazed by its deliciousness. They offer a variety of fruit juices, although the pineapple juice is not freshly squeezed but comes from a can, which doesn't compare to fresh pineapple juice. However, they were very friendly and switched my order to a fresh pineapple shake but they couldn't prepare it due to the sudden power outage, and they continued to apologize throughout. In summary, this restaurant goes above and beyond to ensure the satisfaction of every diner who comes to enjoy a meal here.

There's a reason that this place is always packed: Great food and prices!! The staff are kind and attentive too.We had Pad Thai with shrimp, stir fry veggies, and seafood basil (kra prao) with rice and a virgin mojito. Everything was tasty...better than other Thai places we tried on the island.They always have a few chickens on a spit roaster outside that look great. And whole fish are only 350b on the menu.The chef even came by to ask if everything was okay.
